Super Eagles technical adviser, Gernot Rohr has confirmed that skipper Mikel Obi will return to lead the the Eagles starting XI against Argentina in tomorrow’s high profile friendly match, after he was rested for in Fridays FIFA qualifying game in Algeria.
“The game will start at 7pm local time, which is 5pm in Nigeria,” Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye informed
The Eagles arrived Russia via chartered flight on Saturday, afyter playing 1-1 with Algewria in the teams last Group B match of the World Cup qualifier in Constantine, Algeria.
The team had its first training yesterday evening at the match venue in Krasnoder.
It has been reported that weather conditions are similar to the cold the team encountered in Constantine, Algeria – lowest 6-9 degrees and warmest 17-19 degrees.
Organisers say there will maximum changes of six players per team for this match.
