Chinese Scientists Clones First Set Of Monkeys [Watch Video]

Talking about technology and research all over the world, we can boldly say that China as a country is taking the lead as at the moment both in mobile phone, automobiles and so on and that’s a fact no one can go against.

Chinese scientists for the first time cloned monkeys using the same technique that produced Dolly the sheep 2 decades ago breaking the technical barrier that could open the door to copying humans.

Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua, two identical long tailed macaques were born eight and six weeks agomaking them the first ever non-human primates to be cloned from a non-embryonic cell.

Scientists at the Shanghai institute said they followed international guidelines for animal research set by the U.S national institute of health but called for a debate on what should or should not be acceptable practice in primate cloning.

In this documentary video, you can see how chinese scientists successfully clones their first set of monkeys and to me this is so intriguing.
