Mrs Oby Ezekwesili who was the Federal Minister of Solid Minerals and Minister of Education in Nigeria clocked 55 yesterday 28th april and that was a thing of joy to us.
The Nigerian woman legend who was born April 28, 1963 and started doing exploits since she was announced federal minister of solid minerals and was in office since June 2005 to June 2006 by then Olusegun Obasanjo government.
She was the federal Minister of Education in Nigeria and was in office from June 2006 to April 2007.
However, she has been doing many exploits from then till now and will still be by God’s special grace!
According to her Wikipedia page, here is a few details I got about her.
“Mrs Obiageli Ezekwesili is a co-founder of Transparency International, serving as one of the pioneer directors of the global anti-corruption body based in Berlin, Germany. She served as Federal Minister of Solid Minerals and then as Federal Minister of Education during the second-term presidency of Olusegun Obasanjo. Since then, she served as the Vice-President of the World Bank’s Africa division from May 2007 to May 2012, she was replaced by Makhtar Diop.”
Below is what she has to say on Twitter announcing her own birthday and this is so lovely.
So I’m here today because God kept me.
I’m alive today,
only because of His grace.
Oh, He Kept me,
God Kept me,
He kept me,
So I wouldn’t let go.
